Learn about the new Miyawaki Forest in Cambridge

November 9th @ 7:30 pm you can learn about the first urban pocket forest of its kind in the Northeastern USA. This innovative method of reforestation features a biodiverse array of native trees and shrubs planted densely to encourage the natural symbiotic processes within a forest. It also supports soil regeneration, climate resilience, and biodiversity, and presents an opportunity for community stewardship and education on native ecology.  Maya Dutta and Paula Phipps will share their experience implementing this project.
