Calling all EV owners! Share a virtual EV test drive for National Drive Electric Week. National Drive Electric Week is October 26-November 4, and while things are a bit different this year, we still want your help in promoting electric vehicles. In the past, Belmont Light has joined forces with Belmont Drives Electric in hosting events to help educate our customers on the benefits of plug-in EVs. As a means to continue to celebrate and educate while maintaining a safe distance, we’re going virtual!
Belmont Light has teamed up with Reading Municipal Light Department and other Mass. municipal utilities to create a library of virtual EV test drives which will be shared during National Drive Electric Week, and we need your help!
We’re looking for a few local plug-in EV owners who are willing to record a short video showing their vehicle and sharing their experiences.
Visit www.belmontlight.com/ev-ride-along-videos to learn more and to download a video guideline. The deadline to submit a video is September 23, 2020, although we will accept your videos on a rolling basis.
