The Sustainable Belmont monthly zoom meeting is this Thursday(11/5) at 7pm. Ben Thivierge, Belmont Light’s Energy Specialist, will present on how Belmont Light’s Strategic Electrification initiatives help the town meet its climate goals such as no-cost home energy assessments, solar rebates, electric vehicle incentives, heat pumps, appliance rebates, among other topics. Strategic Electrification means moving customers’ end uses to electricity, moving the source of that electricity from fossil fuels to renewable energy, while continuing to promote energy efficient usage that reduces costs for the customer and Belmont Light at the same time.
