On January 24, 2010, Sustainable Belmont celebrated its fifth anniversary with a potluck dinner. Our chair for all five years, Jan Kruse, was stepping down, and we thanked her and remembered her sustained and inspiring work. Our vice-chair, John McAlpin, will become chair, and John Kolterman will be vice-chair. Jennifer Page, Jack Dennis, and former co-chair Heather Tuttle (in abstentia) were also recognized. Jennifer is our liaison to Vision 21. Jennifer and Jack, along with Jan and John M., served as the editorial committee for the Belmont Climate Action Plan. We thank the Belmont Hill School for providing the venue and beverages for our event.
